Job Summary:
The Hotel Housekeeping staff is responsible for ensuring that guest rooms and public areas of the hotel are clean and well-maintained. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of housekeeping duties, including cleaning guest rooms, processing guest requests for additional supplies, maintaining public areas of the hotel, and ensuring that all housekeeping tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
– Clean and maintain all assigned guest rooms to hotel standards, including changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, dusting, and restocking supplies as necessary.
– Respond to guest requests for additional supplies such as toiletries, towels, and blankets in a timely and efficient manner.
– Ensure that all public areas of the hotel meet the standards of cleanliness, including lobbies, hallways, stairwells, and outdoor areas.
– Collaborate with other members of the housekeeping staff and report any maintenance issues or damage discovered during cleaning to the Housekeeping Manager.
– Follow established hotel policies and procedures, including those related to key control, safety, and security of guest rooms, and handling of lost and found items
– Perform deep cleaning and special projects as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager, such as carpet cleaning, deep cleaning of bathrooms, or other projects as needed.
– Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with all guests and fellow staff members.
– Attend regular housekeeping meetings, training sessions, and departmental meetings as required.
