Business Development Manager – Ridgeland, MS

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Track cash flow
  • Lead financial planning
  • Analyze the company’s strengths and weaknesses, proposing corrective actions when necessary
  • Perform quality assurance, cost-benefit analysis, and financial forecasting
  • Schedule land closings and bank loans
  • Coordinate with investors on a regular basis to keep them informed
  • Prepare and schedule important deadlines
  • Setup bank meetings
  • Drive projects and take initiative
  • Seeking new business opportunities and expanding the company’s market share and revenue
  • Recruiting, managing, and mentoring the development team and other staff
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and clients
  • Develop networks towards sourcing for new clients
  • Liaise with members of staff to ensure top level client experience in all cases of client interactions from follow up to delivery and needs assessment
  • Meet time lines on all aspect of pre development from land closing to financing.

Skills:

  • Strong project management skills to effectively plan, execute, and monitor business development initiatives
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or related field
  • Excellent negotiation skills to secure profitable deals with clients
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth
  • Knowledge of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape
  • Proficiency in customer relationship management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
