Working typically from 11 PM to 7 AM, they handle guest check-ins, resolve complaints, ensure hotel security, and “roll the date” by reconciling the day’s financial transactions into comprehensive reports.

Core Responsibilities:
- Financial Auditing: Reconciles daily revenues, processes credit card batches, balances cash drawers, and generates morning revenue reports for management.
- Front Desk Operations: Checks in late arrivals, processes early departures, answers the phones, and handles concierge inquiries.
- Security & Safety: Monitors the property, prints emergency contingency rosters, and acts as the point person for any nighttime security or medical incidents.

Early Morning Prep: Often prepares continental breakfast stations or runs early morning wake-up calls.
