Night Auditor Key Responsibilities
- Guest Services: Check-in/out late arrivals, assist with requests (wake-up calls, transport), respond to emergencies, and handle complaints.
- Accounting & Finance: Balance cash drawers, reconcile credit/cash transactions, post charges, verify guest folios, and investigate out-of-balance accounts.
- Reporting: Generate daily and nightly financial reports, operating statistics, and prepare for morning audits.
- Front Desk Operations: Manage phones, take reservations, handle check-ins, and ensure smooth handover to day staff.
- Security: May perform security checks or oversee night staff.
